Angharad is passionate about performing and teaching alike. She pride's herself on her professional, friendly and constructive teaching approach, delivering individually tailored vocal lessons designed to meet the needs of each pupil’s voice, ability and musical tastes. Though Angharad is a trained classical musician, she has an extended knowledge and experience in teaching many styles of music including classical and opera, musical theatre, jazz, pop, folk and coaching singer-songwriters.
Angharad enjoys teaching a wide range of students of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners wanting to learn for fun, to the more advanced who are preparing for concerts and auditions. She has a solid and consistent record of successes with her pupils achievements in singing exams, competitions and auditions, as well as the considerable progress evident through regular lessons.
Angharad is a resident singing teacher at the United World College of the Atlantic, but is based in Cardiff where she has her own private teaching practice. She previously taught at DS school of music in Monmouth.
Tuition is available in English or Welsh.
Angharad has enjoyed working on teaching projects such as ‘Schools Opera’ workshops in primary schools, a musical theatre project for comprehensive schools, opera workshops for LMPA School of Arts on the Isle of Skye and giving a vocal Master class at the United World College of the Atlantic. Angharad attained her DipABRSM Vocal Teaching qualification whilst studying at RWCMD.
